SeekOut Assist

SeekOut Assist simplifies the process of generating targeted searches and writing engaging messaging for candidate outreach.

This feature is available for users with Enterprise and Enterprise + Healthcare licenses.

SeekOut Assist simplifies the process of generating targeted searches and writing engaging messaging for candidate outreach. Powered by GPT technology, this feature offers recruiters the ability to move quickly from job description to initial contact with potential candidates, significantly reducing time-to-hire.

Smart Match with Assist

Go to SeekOut search and select the Public Profile tab at the top of the page. Toggle Smart Match from the filter list at the top left of the search results. You'll see the Assist prompt on the right side of the page.

Paste your job description in the form and click Create Search.

Enter your job description into the text box and click Create Search. SeekOut will analyze your text and custom build a search with relevant job titles and skills.

Adding Candidates to a Project

Once you find a candidate that meets your criteria, add them to a project so you save their profile and can access it later. Click the Add to Project button on the candidate profile and select a new or existing project.

When you select Create New Project you have the option of saving the job description that you used to create this Smart Match search. Check the box Save JD to Project and click Save to save your new project.

Including More Job Titles for Uncommon Searches

When your job description is looking for candidates with an uncommon job title, you'll automatically be prompted to add similar common job titles to help broaden your search. SeekOut will display the 'Looks good!' banner when you've added enough titles. Click Continue to see your search results.

Messaging with Assist

Click Get Email on a candidate profile and SeekOut will search for and display all of the candidate's available email addresses.

Note: Searching for candidate contact information uses credits. See the articles Contact Information Credits and Contact Information - Requesting Candidate Email Addresses and Phone Numbers for more details on using contact info credits.

  • To access the Messaging with Assist feature from your search results page, click the Message button on a candidate profile.

  • To access the Messaging with Assist feature from a project, click the Message button on a candidate profile and then select Quick Email.

Use the options on the right to generate a custom outreach message for your candidate based on different tones, lengths, and focuses.

Use the options on the right to select the type of tone, length, and focus for your email. Click Generate Message and SeekOut Assist will create a customized outreach message for your candidate.

Copying and Sending your Message

If you have your email client configured on your computer to open email links from your browser, select Open in Email at the top of the window and SeekOut will open a new mail composition window in your email client. The candidate's email will be filled in the To field along with the subject and body generated by Assist.

Alternatively, you can click Copy and your generated email will be copied to your clipboard. From here, you can paste the text into your email client.

In both cases, make sure you proofread the generated email and make any necessary changes to the text, such as filling in your name or the name of your company.
