SeekOut integrates with your Lever account, allowing you to export candidate information from SeekOut and turn it into Lever candidate profiles complete with contact information and work/education history. Candidate data can be sent to Lever as prospects or attached to an existing job.

This article shows two methods for setting up your integration, Lever and Lever Opportunities, as well as how to export candidate info from SeekOut to Lever.
Lever vs Lever Opportunities - Which to choose
Lever Opportunities (Recommended)
Export candidate data such as name, experience, and location, as well as any tags you've added to the candidate profile in SeekOut.
Lever
Export candidate data such as name, experience, and location. Tags are not exported from SeekOut.
Setting up the Lever Opportunities Integration
Before You Begin
The user who sets up the integration must use the exact same email for SeekOut and Lever. These emails are case sensitive.

Setting Up Lever
Login to Lever and go to Settings > Integrations and API. Select the API Credentials tab and click Generate New Key under the Lever API credentials section.
Click Copy Key and save it somewhere safe. You'll need to enter this key in SeekOut later.
Scroll down and select the following permissions:

Click Done.
Accessing Integrations
Click your name at the bottom left of the SeekOut dashboard, then select Integrations.
Note: Don't see the Integrations option in your menu? Contact your Customer Success Manager or support@seekout.com and ask to enable ATS integrations for your org.
On the Integrations page, click + Add a Connection to open the list of applicant tracking systems. If you've set up an integration with SeekOut before, your current integrations will be listed on this page. Click the plus sign + at the top of the page to open the ATS list.
Connecting to Lever
On the Integrations page, click + Add a Connection. Locate Lever Opportunities from the list of integrations and click the Connect button.
Note: If you have set up an integration previously, click the + next to the list of integrations at the top of the page to open the Add a Connection pop-up.
On the Capabilities tab, check the box next to Export. Check Export only as Prospects if you choose not to export candidates to specific jobs in your ATS. Click Confirm Choices to continue to the next step.
Review the requirements on the Permissions tab and click I'm ready.
On the Credentials tab, enter your API Key, and select Production in the Environment dropdown.
Click Submit to save your credentials, then click Next.
On the Verify tab, click Authenticate. This will take you to your Lever login page. After logging in, you'll be redirected back to SeekOut's integration page. Choose either Export as Prospect or select a job from the jobs list and click Verify. SeekOut will send a test candidate to the job you selected. When the ‘All Good’ message appears, click Finish and ensure the test candidate has been successfully added to your ATS.
When successful, Lever Opportunities will appear at the top of your Integrations page with a green check mark.
Removing the Integration
On the Integrations page, click the arrow next to a connected integration to Edit or Remove the integration from your SeekOut account.
Authentication
Note Lever uses OAuth and requires you to authenticate your connection before exporting for the first time. Lever’s OAuth is case sensitive. Your email login for SeekOut must match exactly how your email is stored in Lever. See the article How can I change the email address I use to sign into SeekOut? for help changing your SeekOut login email to match your Lever login email.
Authenticate while on a Search page
While searching for candidates, click More at the top right of the candidate list. Click Authenticate with Lever Opportunities and login to your Lever account. Authentication will automatically happen after you login.
Authenticate from within a Project
While in a SeekOut project and click Export at the top right of your candidates. Click Authenticate with Lever Opportunities and login to your Lever account. Authentication will automatically happen after you login.
Exporting to Lever
Note: It's strongly recommended to retrieve a candidate's email address before exporting. Your ATS will be unable to match duplicate candidates unless they have an email address associated with their profile.
Use the Get Email button on a profile to obtain their contact info, or check the box Generate dummy email addresses for candidates in the confirmation pop-up before exporting.
Recommended: Export from a project
To export all candidates in a project to Lever, go to your SeekOut project, click the Export icon and choose Export All to Lever Opportunities. Contact information such as email addresses and phone numbers will only appear in your export if you click Get Email for All and Get Phone for All before exporting.
Alternatively, you can export select candidates from SeekOut by clicking the box next to their profile, clicking Export and then selecting Export X to Lever Opportunities. With both methods, clicking Export to Lever will cause a pop-up window will appear.
You can select a job from the dropdown menu or export the candidates as prospects. If your ATS does not support candidate profiles without email addresses, check the box Generate dummy email addresses for candidates. Click the Export button to export candidates to Lever. If successful, you will see a confirmation pop-up message that says "Export Complete."
Additional Notes
Duplicate Profiles
By default, SeekOut will not transmit profiles that have already been successfully exported. Candidates that have been exported will display a confirmation icon and the name of your ATS in their SeekOut profile.
Check the box Include previously exported candidate(s) if you're exporting the same candidates to your ATS again.
Note: Lever supports limited duplicate check functionality. If you export the same candidate twice but with a small change (such as exporting a candidate to a different job or adding a phone number to their SeekOut profile before sending them to your ATS), then two records will be created in Lever. When you navigate to Lever and click on one of the duplicate profiles, Lever should ask if you want to merge the two candidates.
Job Filtering
End users will only see jobs with a state of ‘Published’ in Lever

These steps are for an older version of the Lever and SeekOut integration. If you're setting up your Lever integration for the first time, please use the instructions above.

Additional Notes
What do dummy emails look like?
When you check the box "Generate dummy email addresses" before exporting to your ATS, then SeekOut will create email addresses and send them along with each candidate who doesn't already have an email associated with their SeekOut profile.
The email addresses generated by SeekOut will look similar to these examples:
