The SeekOut Chrome Extension

The SeekOut Chrome Extension improves your ability to source candidates. When you have it installed, SeekOut will enhance any candidate searches you make on Google. The extension also lets you save and organize candidate information you find on the web, obtain verified candidate email addresses and social links, and get recommendations for new candidates.

Note: The SeekOut Chrome Extension is only available for users with an active paid SeekOut license.

How to Use the Extension

Once you have the extension installed, click the extension icon in your browser's toolbar to open a pop-up. Click Sign in and login to your SeekOut account if you're not automatically logged in.

When you are viewing a profile online that you want to save, click the SeekOut icon in the Chrome toolbar to open the extension. With the extension, you can:

• Add a candidate to a project

• Get verified email addresses and social profiles (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) for the candidate

Once you have candidates in a SeekOut project, you can:

• Export to a spreadsheet

• Get suggestions for similar candidates from the AI-powered SeekOut candidate recommendations

• Start automated messaging campaigns

Any time you search for candidates in Google, we will automatically enhance the results with the candidate's photo, current company & title, location, educational background, and key skills. If you have the candidate in a SeekOut folder, you'll see that folder listed as well.

Q: Which browsers support the SeekOut Extension?

The extension works with the most recent versions of Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. If you're using Edge, you may need to enable a setting to allow you to download extensions from the Google Chrome store. See this page on Microsoft's support center for information about this setting and how to enable it.

Q: I am not seeing enhanced Google search results. What's going on? 

Ensure your browser and the extension are both up to date. Try beginning your Google search with this:
