Company Alumni Filter

SeekOut's Company Alumni filter is a powerful and unique tool that allows you to quickly find people who have left a specific company and gain deep insights into who those people are and where they went.

This feature is available for users with Professional and Enterprise licenses.

SeekOut's Company Alumni filter is a powerful and unique tool that allows you to quickly find people who have left a specific company. You can use this filter to gain deep insights into who those people are and where they went.

Go to SeekOut search and select the Public Profile tab at the top of the page.

You can find the Company Alumni filter in your list of filters on the left side of the search page. If you don't see it listed, click the three-dot menu at the top of the filter list and select Manage Filters. Check the box next to Company Alumni to add it to your list of filters and click Save.

Using the Company Alumni Filter

Enter a company name into the text field, then select a date range. The resulting search will show only profiles of people who left the company during that time period.

Enter the name of a company in the 'Former employee of' field and select a year range.

You can apply the Alumni Filter to any search, or combine with Power Filters and Boolean strings for deep matching.

Combining Company Alumni with People Insights

You can combine the Company Alumni filter with SeekOut's People Insights tool to learn more about the people who have left a company or to even better understand your own organization.

In this example, the Company Alumni filter is set to show STEM graduates who have left Google in the last 5 years. When you click the People Insights view, you get a graphical representation of this talent pool.

Combine the company alumni filter with the People Insights feature to get see interactive charts with valuable information about alumnus candidates.

By combining these two features, you get a set of insights that allows you to understand a specific talent pool based on skills, experience, role, location, education, and even diversity. You can change the company name and year range at any time and your insights will update in real-time.

Try entering your own company name in the alumni field. The insights you gain here can help think strategically about how you can develop campaigns to target similar employees or even improve your own retention programs!
