SeekOut integrates with your Invenias account, allowing you to export candidate data from SeekOut and turn them into profiles complete with contact information and work/education history. Candidates can be sent to Invenias as simple prospects, or they can be attached to an existing job.

SeekOut integrates with your Invenias account, allowing you to export candidate data from SeekOut and turn them into profiles complete with contact information and work/education history. Candidates can be sent to Invenias as simple prospects, or they can be attached to an existing job.
This article covers how to set up your integration, as well as how to export candidate info from SeekOut to Invenias.
Setting up the Invenias Integration
Before You Begin
You'll need the following information from your Invenias account:
Endpoint
Client ID
Client Secret
Generating the Client Secret and Client ID from Invenias
Log into your Invenias account. Once logged in, copy the URL in the address bar. This is your Endpoint. Copy this to a safe place.
It should look similar to
https://yourCompany.invenias.comwhere yourCompany is replaced with the name of your company or organization.
Go to your Invenias API page. The URL for the page should be
https://yourCompany.invenias.com/api/swagger/indexwhere yourCompany is replaced with the name in your Endpoint.Double click on api_key in the search box at the top right. An API key will be generated in this box.
You may be asked to login to your Invenias account again for security purposes.
Scroll down to ThirdPartyApplications and click to expand it.
Click on POST - /api/v1/thirdpartyapplications to expand it. Enter the following in the Request box and click the button Try it out!

This will generate your Client ID and Client Secret in the Response Body field. Copy these to a safe place, you'll be entering them into SeekOut.
Note: Your credentials will have an expiration date based on the Expiration field which will be confirmed in the response body.
Accessing Integrations
Click your name at the bottom left of the SeekOut dashboard, then select Integrations.
Note: Don't see the Integrations option in your menu? Contact your Customer Success Manager or support@seekout.com and ask to enable ATS integrations for your org.
On the Integrations page, click + Add a Connection to open the list of applicant tracking systems. If you've set up an integration with SeekOut before, your current integrations will be listed on this page. Click the plus sign + at the top of the page to open the ATS list.
Connecting to Invenias
On the Integrations page, click + Add a Connection. Locate Invenias from the list of integrations and click the Connect button.
Note: If you have set up an integration previously, click the + next to the list of integrations at the top of the page to open the Add a Connection pop-up.
On the Capabilities tab, check the box next to Export. Check Export only as Prospects if you choose not to export candidates to specific jobs in your ATS. Click Confirm Choices to continue to the next step.
On the Credentials tab, enter your Endpoint, Client ID, and Client Secret from Invenias.
Click Submit to save your credentials, then click Next.
On the Verify tab, click Authenticate. This will take you to your Invenias login page. After logging in, you'll be redirected back to SeekOut's integration page. Choose either Export as Prospect or select a job from the jobs list and click Verify. When the ‘All Good’ message appears, click Finish and ensure the test candidate has been successfully added to your ATS.
When successful, Invenias will appear at the top of your Integrations page with a green check mark.
Removing the Integration
On the Integrations page, click the arrow next to a connected integration to Edit or Remove the integration from your SeekOut account.
Authentication
Invenias uses OAuth and requires you to authenticate your connection before exporting for the first time.
Authenticate while on a Search page
While searching for candidates, click More at the top right of the candidate list. Click Authenticate with Invenias and login to your Invenias account. Authentication will automatically happen after you login.
Authenticate from within a Project
While in a SeekOut project and click Export at the top right of your candidates. Click Authenticate with Invenias and login to your Invenias account. Authentication will automatically happen after you login.
Exporting from SeekOut to Invenias
To export all candidates in a project to Invenias, go to your SeekOut project, click the Export icon and choose Export All to Invenias.
Contact information such as email addresses and phone numbers will only appear in your export if you click Get Email for All and Get Phone for All before exporting.
Alternatively, you can export select candidates from SeekOut by clicking the box next to their profile, clicking Export and then selecting Export X to Invenias. With both methods, clicking Export to Invenias will cause a pop-up window will appear.
You can select a job from the dropdown menu or export the candidates as prospects. If your ATS does not support candidate profiles without email addresses, check the box Generate dummy email addresses for candidates. Click the Export button to export candidates to Invenias. If successful, you will see a confirmation pop-up message that says "Export Complete."
Additional Notes
What do dummy emails look like?
When you check the box "Generate dummy email addresses" before exporting to your ATS, then SeekOut will create email addresses and send them along with each candidate who doesn't already have an email associated with their SeekOut profile.
The email addresses generated by SeekOut will look similar to these examples:
