SeekOut integrates with iCIMS, allowing you to export candidate data from SeekOut and turn it into iCIMS candidate profiles complete with contact information and work/education history. Candidate data can be sent to iCIMS as prospects, or they can be attached to an existing job.

SeekOut integrates with iCIMS, allowing you to export candidate data from SeekOut and turn it into iCIMS candidate profiles complete with contact information and work/education history. Candidate data can be sent to iCIMS as prospects, or they can be attached to an existing job.
This article covers how to set up your integration, as well as how to export candidate info from SeekOut to iCIMS.
Setting up the iCIMS Integration
Before You Begin
Contact iCIMS and tell them you want to integrate with SeekOut. Request that they whitelist the following IP addresses for your integration:

Ask iCIMS support for a username, password, and CustomerID for a REST-based integration. Save this information to a safe place; you'll be entering it into SeekOut.
Accessing Integrations
Click your name at the bottom left of the SeekOut dashboard, then select Integrations.
Don't see the Integrations option in your menu? Contact your Customer Success Manager or support@seekout.com and ask to enable ATS integrations for your org.
Connecting to iCIMS
On the Integrations page, click + Add a Connection. Locate iCIMS from the list of integrations and click the Connect button.
Note: If you have set up an integration previously, click the + next to the list of integrations at the top of the page to open the Add a Connection pop-up.
On the Capabilities tab, check the box next to Export. Click Confirm Choices to continue to the next step.
On the Credentials tab, enter your customer ID, username, and password provided from iCIMS.
In the Job URLs field, enter:
https://api.icims.com/customers/{customerId}/search/portals/{jobPortalId}?staleness=0
Replace {customerID} with the customer ID provided from iCIMS, and replace {jobPortalId} with your job portal ID.
If you have more than one job portal in iCIMS, enter the URL for each one separated by a comma.

Click Submit to save your credentials. SeekOut will automatically attempt to verify your connection. The verification step will check integration permissions and send a test record to iCIMS. When verification is successful, iCIMS will appear at the top of your Integrations page with a green check mark.
Removing the Integration
On the Integrations page, click the arrow next to a connected integration to Edit or Remove the integration from your SeekOut account.
Testing & Verifying the Integration
SeekOut automatically tests your integration during the configuration process. Select a job from the dropdown list and click Verify to export a test candidate to your ATS.
When successful, iCIMS will appear under the section My Organization's Integrations with the label "Connected." Test your integration again at any time by returning to the integrations page, clicking the three-dot menu next to the name, selecting Edit, and then click through to the Verify step.
What do I do if my test was unsuccessful?
Confirm that your info is entered correctly in the integration pop-up. If you make any changes to your info, click Save first and then click Verify to try again with your updated credentials.
If you've confirmed your connection info is correct and you're still unable to connect, reach out to your Customer Success Manager or email support@seekout.com for assistance.
Exporting from SeekOut to iCIMS
Note: A candidate must have an email address in order to export their profile to iCIMS. Either use the Get Email buttons on a profile to obtain their contact info before exporting, or check the box Generate dummy email addresses for candidates in the confirmation pop-up before exporting.
Recommended: Export from a project
To export all candidates in a project to iCIMS, go to your SeekOut project, click Export and choose Export All to iCIMS.
Contact information such as email addresses and phone numbers will only appear in your export if you click Get Email for All and Get Phone for All before exporting.
Alternatively, you can export select candidates from SeekOut by clicking the box next to their profile, clicking Export and then selecting Export X to iCIMS. With both methods, clicking Export to iCIMS will cause a pop-up window will appear.
You can select a job from the dropdown menu or export the candidates as prospects. If you don't have email addresses for all candidates, check the box Generate dummy email addresses for candidates. Click the Export button to export candidates to iCIMS. When successful, you will see a confirmation pop-up message that says "Export Complete."
Additional Notes
Duplicate Profiles
By default, SeekOut will not transmit profiles that have already been successfully exported. Candidates that have been exported will display a confirmation icon and the name of your ATS in their SeekOut profile.
Check the box Include previously exported candidate(s) if you're exporting the same candidates to your ATS again.
